Immunisation Services at Brunswick Medical Group

We offer a range of immunisation services, including travel, flu, childhood, and employment vaccinations. Appointments must be booked in advance with one of our nurses.

Vaccine Availability:
Our clinic has a limited supply of vaccines. If we don’t have the required vaccine in stock, your doctor will provide a prescription for you to purchase it from a pharmacy and have it administered at the surgery.

Proof of Vaccination:
Proof of vaccination can be accessed via the Express Plus Medicare App, My Health Record, or by calling the Australian Immunisation Register on 1800 653 809.

Flu Vaccines for 2025:

  • Flu vaccines will be available from April 2025.
  • Government-funded flu vaccines are free for children (6 months to 4 years), adults 65+, pregnant women, those with certain medical conditions, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Private flu vaccines are $20 per person if you’re not eligible for the government-funded vaccine.

Travel Vaccines:
We are an accredited Yellow Fever Vaccine provider. Please book an appointment for travel vaccine advice. Additional fees apply for travel vaccination.

COVID-19 Vaccines (as of 04/02/25):

  • COVID-19 vaccinations are available by appointment for eligible patients aged 18+.
  • The current vaccine available is Comirnaty JN.1 5.
  • Medicare holders are bulk billed; those without Medicare cannot receive the vaccine at our clinic.

National Immunisation Program

Brunswick Medical Group provides the National Immunisation Program for children, adolescents, and adults including pregnancy vaccinations. Please book an appointment with the nurse.
